Numerical simulation of the coalescence process on a fixed substrate with Oh = 0.0126. The contact line of the adaxial drop is pinned, and the pinned area is effectively the wetted spore surface. The cap-shaped adaxial drop has a base radius rA (not the spherical radius) given by rA/rB = 2. The cap angle of the initial adaxial drop is ψA = 30°.
