Phenotype and turnover of tissue macrophages in an uninfected rhesus macaque. A rhesus macaque was injected with BrdU at 5 days of age and necropsied at 7 days of age. (A) Isolated cells from tissues were analyzed by flow cytometry. The HLA-DR+ fraction was analyzed for CD163 and CD206 expression.
