Fig. 1 — N. tabacum intron-exon configuration of the stylar AGP and NtPRP genes. The intron-exon organization of the two ancestral donors, N. sylvestris and N. tomentosiformis, is nearly identical to N. tabacum with minimal INDEL polymorphisms or nucleotide polymorphisms. Sequences were aligned based on second exon sequences, T and S designated N. tomentosiformis and N. sylvestris ancestral genomes, respectively. Total length of the gene’s coding region is listed on the right. The same intron-exon organization was observed in the newly discovered NtPRP genes (-S and -T)
