Long-term effects of MCS. (A) Comparison of the effects of daily pre-MCS in different conditions. Neuropathic pain rats with MCS show gradually increased withdrawal thresholds up to the 10^th day after MCS. (B) To evaluate the duration of the effects of daily post-MCS, the mechanical thresholds were measured daily until the 28^th day after MCS. The effects of MCS gradually decreased until the 17^th day after termination of MCS.
