FOXR2 is a direct target of miR-202. (a) The putative binding site of miR-202 in the 3′-UTR of FOXR2. The mutation was generated using QuikChange site-directed mutagenesis kit. (b, c) Analysis of luciferase activity. The relative luciferase activity was reduced when cells were cotransfected with miR-202 mimic and pMIR-FOXR2-3′-UTR (WT), and it was rescued when cells were cotransfected with miR-202 mimic and pMIR-FOXR2-3′-UTR [18].
