a

For qBEI measurement, 15 biopsy samples were evaluated (cortical n=15; cancellous n=12). For OLS analysis, the minimal bone area was achieved in 15 samples (cortical n=15; cancellous n=5).

b

(38). The reference OLS data for Cn and Ct were obtained from 6 control children.
