Platelets are abundant in common human tumours but not in healthy tissues. Formalin fixed sections from primary human adenocarcimonas and healthy human tissues underwent immunofluorescence for platelets (red) and nuclei (blue) with an anti-CD41 antibody and counterstained with Hoechst® nucleic acid stain.
