Inhibition of HEMO release in the supernatant of transfected cells. Western blot analysis of cell lysate and supernatant of 293T cells transfected with the phCMV-HEMO expression vector using the polyclonal anti-HEMO antibody (SI Methods). Cells were treated for 3 d with the indicated doses of the ADAM and MMP chemical inhibitors Batismastat, Marismastat, and GM6001 or DMSO alone.
