ML221 inhibits the CCI-induced activation of ERK in the rat spinal cord. The representative immunoblotting bands and the quantitative data demonstrated that ML221 inhibited the CCI-induced increase of pERK expression in the spinal cord. ML221 (10 µg) was intrathecally injected at 7 days post-CCI. L4-L5 spinal cord segments were collected in order to measure ERK and pERK expression at 2 h following ML221 injection (n=6 in each case). There was no obvious change between sham group and CCI group. Data are presented as the mean ± standard error of the mean.
