Systematic administration of PIO inhibits BMMCs maturation in vitro. Bone marrow cells from mice with or without PIO gavage for 7 days were cultured in IL-3 and SCF for 21 days. Expression of CD117 and FcεRI α on the surface of BMMCs was analyzed by flow cytometry. The data is representative of three independent experiments.
