MSERg, MACMI, SIFT and Intensity-based Registration comparison in terms of prostate capsule boundary DSC, landmark RMSD and tumor DSC with statistical significance analysis testing on the clinical test set. Greater DSC value and lower RMSD indicate better annotation alignment and thus a better registration result. Statistical significance testing was performed between each pair of methods with respect to MSERg in terms of capsule boundary DSC, landmark RMSD and tumor DSC. In 8 of the 9 different comparisons performed, MSERg statistically significantly (p < 0.05) outperformed the other methods for the cases in the clinical test set.
