Hematological parameters in C57BL/6 mice infected with Listeria monocytogenes (A and C) or Salmonella Typhimurium (B and D). After sacrifice at different time points, blood was collected, and the numbers of red blood cells (A and B) and the hematocrit (HCT) values (C and D) were determined by a certified laboratory. The graphs represent means plus standard deviations for at least 4 animals.
