Schild analysis of NMDA receptor inhibition by ST3. Glutamate concentration–response data for rat GluN1/2C and rat GluN1/2D in the absence and presence of ST3 and corresponding Schild plots determined using two-electrode voltage-clamp recordings are shown. Schild plots for rat GluN1/2A and rat GluN1/2B are included for comparison, but are also shown in Fig. 1. The binding affinity (Ki) for ST3 is 107 nM at GluN1/2C (95% CI, 99–115 nM; determined using 30 oocytes) and 400 nM at GluN1/2D (95% CI, 372–431 nM; determined using 32 oocytes). Data are presented as mean ± SEM.
