Experimental factors |
Seedling roots were treated with infective second-stage juveniles (J2s) of the soybean cyst nematode (HG type 2.5.7) for 3, 5, 8 days. Roots from four individual plants were pooled as one biological replicate, and three replicates were prepared for treatment and control at each time point. |
Experimental features |
This study uses wild soybean that contains higher levels of genetic diversity compared with cultivated soybean as a study system. Two wild soybean genotypes with distinct response to SCN were used for comparative analyses. |
