Conditions: Pd₂(dba)₃ (2.5 mol %), dppp (5 mol %), 1 (0.3 mmol), 2 (0.36 mmol), THF (3.0 mL), 60 °C was used.

Isolated yields.

Carried out on a 1 mmol scale.

(R,R)-L1 (5 mol %) was used as ligand, DCE (3.0 mL).

The ee values were determined by HPLC analysis.
