Effect of large duction on mean translation of the globe center relative to its position in central gaze for all control orbits, orbits having POAG with normal IOP, and the subset of control orbits matched in age to those of subjects with POAG. Orbits with POAG had significantly greater posterior and inferior globe translation in adduction than did the controls, yet significantly less lateral translation in abduction. There were no significant differences among groups in vertical globe translation in adduction.
