Densities of C. rodentium in feces from mice inoculated with the bacterium and rectally administered PBS (BU0) or butyrate at a concentration of 80 mM (BU80), 100 mM (BU100), or 140 mM (BU140) from the point of inoculation to day 28 postinoculation.
