The ΔfepB mutant has a growth defect under iron-limited conditions. The WT strain (KPPR1S; black circles) and the ΔfepB (VK412; open squares), ΔentB (VK087; open circles), and ΔentBybtS (VK089; black diamonds) mutants were grown in M9-CAA (A) or in M9-CAA supplemented with 100 µM DP (B).
