Values are presented as mean ± standard deviation (range). Data were analysed by the t-test for independent samples or the Mann-Whitney U-test according to the normality of data to investigate the differences of the mean values between group 1 and group 2 (p < 0.05).

Group 1: intraoperative suprascapular nerve block (SSNB) was performed under arthroscopic guidance in addition to preemptive SSNB and axillary block, Group 2: preoperative SSNB was performed without guidance, VAS: visual analog scale, BMI: body mass index, ASES: American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, KSS: Korean Shoulder Elbow Society.
