(A) No β-APP staining is found in the CG. Few immunoreactive profiles are observed at 12 h post-injury, (B) while there are numerous β-APP-stained axons found at 24 (C) and 72 h post-injury (D), but is more evident at 24 h (scale bar =50 μm).
