Axial sections of noncontrast brain computed tomographic imaging at symptom onset demonstrated acute hemorrhage (yellow arrow) localized in the left perimesencephalic cistern (A) and prepontine cistern (B–D), suggesting perimesencephalic subarachnoid hemorrhage.
