Figures (d)–(j) show shape based reconstructions obtained from data in (a) after 400 iterations using shape template in (c) and different values for λ. The phantom is shown in (b). Reconstructions in (d) and (e) are clearly over-regularized, i.e., shape template has too much influence on the outcome. Once λ is small enough to allow for data to have an impact, it does not seem to influence the outcome that much.
