Three prediction methods, SNAP2, PoPMuSiC 2.1 and EVmutation, allowed differentiating at least in part between the neutral and MODY-associated nonsynonymous substitutions when considering their numerical outcomes. Thus, for these three methods, we computed (SNAP2 and PoPMuSiC 2.1) or retrieved (EVmutation) predictions for all possible amino acid exchanges within the GCK molecule, irrespectively on whether they are already known from humans or not.
