Functional complementation of GsCHX19.3 in yeast mutant AXT4K. Culture concentration of transformed yeasts was normalized in water to OD₆₀₀ = 0.4. 10-fold serial dilutions were spotted onto YPD plates with different concentrations of hygromycine B (A), or AP plates containing different concentrations of KCl (B), or AP plates with 0.01 mM or 1 mM KCl at different pH values (C), or AP plates with different concentrations of NaHCO₃ (D). Plates were placed at 30 °C, and pictures were taken after 3 days to show yeast growth performance.
