Exhaust fumes from the petrol driven car and motorcycle were collected by connecting one end of a plastic pipe to the exhaust of the car and the other to saturate distilled water (DW) kept in ice bath for an hour which served as a source of CO₂ (adopted from Faridi and Satyanarayana, 2016a).
