The genomic structure surrounding the breakpoint within the intron 14 of the MET gene and intron 7 of the CD47 gene is shown. A chromosomal inversion leads to fusion of intron 7 of the CD47 gene to intron 14 of the MET gene. The domain organization of each protein is shown as well as the domain structure of the predicted fusion protein. The sequence surrounding the protein fusion site is predicted to be in-frame and is shown below.
