MeJA treatments. Total RNA was isolated after 24 h of treatment, and changes in transcript abundance were determined by quantitative RT-PCR analysis. The relative expression of MtATHB-7 (MTR_8g026960), MtMYC2 (MTR_8g067280), MtAOS (MTR_4g068550), MtJAZ (MTR_5g013530), MtLDOX (MTR_3g070860), Mt3′GT (MTR_5g016660), MtUGT73K1 (MTR_4g031800), and MtCHMT (MTR_7g011990) genes was calculated as 2−ΔCq and normalized using MtTef-1a as an internal reference gene.
