(A) Western blot analysis showed that TGF-β induction resulted in EMT and exhibited a loss of E-cadherin and a gain in vimentin expression. (B) EMT acquisition by TGF-β induction was characterized by immunofluorescence. (C) TGF-β-treated cells increased the invasion capacity in the transwell assays. (D) The drug sensitivity of the TGF-β-treated cells decreased compared with that of the parental cells. (E) TGF-β-treated cells failed to exhibit the apoptotic characteristics of caspase-3/7 activation after vincristine exposure.
