The sequences were aligned by the MUSCLE method in GENEIOUS program. The FN3 domain is marked by solid box and the sequences deleted by alternative splicing are marked by dashed box. (B) Phylogenetic tree of AXL. The phylogenetic tree was made with the full amino acid sequences of each species by Neighbor-Joining method after aligned by the MUSCLE method in GENEIOUS program. Horse AXL was similar to cow and dog than frog and chicken.
