The adductor longus (AL) tendon arises at the inferior margin of the superior ramus and forms a fibrous aponeurotic plate with the rectus abdominis (RA). The pectineus (Pec) attaches superolateral to the adductor longus. The adductor brevis (AB) and adductor magnus (AM) attach posterior to the adductor longus, with the adductor magnus extending posterolaterally while the gracilis (Gr) has a posteromedial attachment.
