A multiplex high-resolution melting (HRM) analysis for simultaneous detection of SEA deletion α⁰-thalassemia and genotyping of single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs3760053. On the left side, the specific amplicon of SNP rs3760053 was detected at Tm 85.09±0.12 ^oC whereas that of the SEA deletion α⁰-thalassemia was identified at Tm 88.64±0.09 ^oC. Further differentiation of the specific SNP rs3760053 amplicon for genotyping (T/T, T/G and G/G) was shown on the right hand side.
