Number of moles of oxygen loaded by hemoglobin per cm 3 in the red blood cells as a function of the hemoglobin concentration in g.cm −3 for different transit times. We assume that at time t = 0 there was no O 2 bounded and that the oxygenation is performed within a transit time varying from 0.2 to 0.7 sec without Hb diffusion.
