(D) HepG2-C3A cells were treated as in (A) and LDL uptake was measured. (E) HCT116 cells were transfected with 2 small interference RNA (siRNA) for AMPKα or with control siRNA and treated with 20 mM DCA for 6 h before mRNA analysis.
