Phylogenetic tree showing the relative position of Sulfurovum lithotrophicum 42BKTT, based 16S rRNA gene sequence. All sites were informative and free of gaps. Evolutionary history was inferred using the neighbor-joining method [35]. The tree was built using the maximum composite-likelihood method [36]. The percentage of replicate trees with the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) is shown next to the corresponding branches [37].
