AFSDF-1 localized to injection site. (A) The total positive AFSDF-1 area for AFSDF-1 NPs was significantly greater than AFSDF-1 bolus at day 1 and 3, but not day 7 (# p < 0.01). (B-D) Evaluating the spatial distribution of AFSDF-1 away from the injection tract demonstrated the marked AFSDF-1 signal from the NPs compared bolus injection most prominently within 400 μm of the injection site across all time points (# p < 0.01).
