Compound ML290 induced modulation of fibrosis related gene transcripts in LX-2 cell line. LX-2 cells were treated with 10  μM or 100 nM of ML290, 100 nM H2-RLX or PBS (control) for 24 h (n = 4). Expression of (a) RXFP1, (b) MMP1, (c) COL1A2 mRNA was quantified by qPCR, normalized to beta-actin (ACTB) and fold changes were calculated as a ratio of values from treated to PBS controls. (d) Investigation of antifibrotic effects using qPCR array to quantify fibrosis related gene transcripts in LX-2 cells treated with 100 µM ML290. mRNA expression was normalized to GAPDH and fold changes were calculated as a ratio of values from treated to PBS controls.
