hTM IgA2 was produced in high yield by a perfusion process in a bioreactor. The working volume was 1 L using a 2 L stirred tank bioreactor. A Centritech was used for supernatant harvest and cell retention. (a) Viable cell concentration (black) and viability (green) during the 35-day process is shown. To maintain cell concentrations blow 5 × 107 viable cells/mL, 250 mL were removed once from the bioreactor (indicated by arrow). (b) Productivity (blue) was calculated based on titer enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) values multiplied by the perfusion rate and the working volume.
