Reasons that children did not provide a second stool sample include: The child did not have a bowel movement on one of the sample collection days; the child was absent from school on one of the sample collection days; and the child accidently misplaced their stool sample container. Of the 4,985 children that submitted two samples, 2,764 were included in both waves of data collection, whereas the remainder (2,221) were in only one wave.
