The equilibrium dissociation constant (Kd) for D88N UDG was determined with different substrates by fluorescence anisotropy. The oligonucleotides 1HAP and 2HAP are the abasic forms of oligonucleotides 1HU and 2HU, where the uracil was removed by incubation with wild-type UDG prior to the determination of Kd (Materials and Methods).
