C: Rate sensitivity for long trial durations (100 to 250 ms) versus short trial durations (−100 to −250 ms). Estimating differences in sensitivity requires more trials than differences in PSE, thus the data were split into short and long durations rather than assessed for each duration jitter value. PSE and sigma values are in units of SNR. Error bars: 95% CIs.
