The pathways were simplified and organized based on Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathways (http://www.kegg.jp/). The data were collected from the metabolomic data of female larvae of the high feed intake strain reared on the artificial diet (HiA females). The font color represents the level of change in the silkworms reared on the artificial diet compared with that of the silkworms of the same strain reared on fresh mulberry leaves (HiM females); red indicates a higher level; blue indicates a lower level; and black indicates no significant change. Black font with a black frame indicates an unidentified metabolite.
