Dynamics of a replacement HD, alone (a) and with countermeasures (b–g), which include a synthetic resistant allele (b,c), reversal drive (d,e), and immunizing reversal drive (f,g). The fitness cost of the HD is s _HD = 0.3. See Fig. 1 for other details. The behavior is qualitatively similar to Fig. 1, but the oscillations of the SR and RD are less damped (b–e).
