Plants of the 32 accessions of the core collection and the reference line A17 were inoculated with R. irregularis propagated on leek cultures (A, B, C) or were grown in native sandy soil (D). Mycorrhization rate was determined after the time periods indicated. Please note that all line numbers used in the text were abbreviated and contained the last three numerals of their original numbers only (see Table S1). Data are presented as means ±SD (n = 3). There were no significant differences in (A, B, C); different letters in (D) indicate significant differences according to one-way-ANOVA with Tukey’s HSD test, p < 0.05.
