ChAT activity was calculated from the difference in the ACh-synthesizing activities in the presence and absence of 100 µM bromoacetylcholine. CarAT activity was calculated from the difference in the Ach-synthesizing activities in the presence and absence of 100 μM bromoacetylcamitine. Data arranged from the studies by Fujii et al. (25) and Kawashima and Fujii (9).
