Effects of radiation on apoptosis and cell cycle in OS cells. (A) U2O2 and KHOS/NP cells were treated with 5 Gy gamma-ray and neutron radiation for indicated time points. The cell cycle distribution of sub-G1 was analyzed quantitatively. (B) After 48 h of treatment, U2O2 and KHOS/NP cells were subjected to Annexin V and PI staining and analyzed by flow cytometry. (C) Cell lysates (30 μg) were immunoblotted (IB) with indicated antibodies. (D) Caspase activities in OS were determined (see Materials and methods).
