The evaluation of microRNA expression in different breast cancer cell lines. The expression of miR-21, miR-155 and miR-221 was evaluated in four breast cancer cell lines corresponding to four histopathological and molecular profiles. While miR-21 and miR-221 show high expression in three of the four analyzed cell lines, with the exception of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive SK-BR-3 cell line, miR-155 expression was extremely low. Graphs represent mean of log2-ΔCq of three experimental replicates.
