Bacterial cells at the mid-log phase (1×10⁴/mL) were treated with 2× MICs of CLP-19 alone, ceftazidime alone or in combination by incubation at 37°C for 6 h. The filtrates of cultures were serially diluted and reacted to the LAL reagent. Kinetic turbidity was measured using an ATi-321 tube reader. The PBS treated bacterial cells served as controls.
