Figure 13.
Hepatobiliary chloroma: contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen of a 21-year-old male on chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukaemia who developed obstructive jaundice, revealing (a) mild hepatomegaly with multiple discrete hypovascular masses (arrow) involving both the lobes of the liver. (b–d) Additionally, an ill-defined hypovascular mass was present in the pancreatic head region causing mild dilatation of upstream Main pancreatic duct. A similar mass was seen involving the right adrenal gland (arrows in c, d). Biopsy of the hepatic mass was consistent with chloroma. Despite ongoing chemotherapy, the patient died 2 weeks later.
