Green crabs (C. maenas) had the highest egg carrying percentage in the low zone, followed by the mid zone, before dropping to less than 1% in the high zone. Asian shore crabs (H. sanguineus) did not show any significant difference with regard to tidal level. Letters indicate significant differences at P = 0.05.
