Effect of pulp (GPE) and peel/seed extracts (GPSE) of gabiroba fruits with or without exposure to CCl₄ on cell viability of HepG2 cells. The viability of cells (1 × 10⁵ cells/well) was assessed using MTT assay: (A) Viability of cells treated with GPE or GPSE (both at 800, 850, 900, 950 or 1000 μg/mL); (B) Viability of cells pretreated for 1 h with GPE or GPSE (both at 800, 850, 900, 950 or 1000 μg/mL) followed by exposure to CCl₄ (4 mM) for 6 h.
